Minecraft?

Well, I used to play Minecraft all the time with some people from another forum which I rarely visit any more. I decided to play it again the other day, only to find out that our server is no more. Is anyone from f.DS playing Minecraft online anywhere? I've always preferred to play with people from somewhere I at least kind of know, instead of just random people who beat me up and take my wood. That way, I can be mad at Ozle in fake real life instead of just fake fake life!

Single-Player always feels suboptimal to me; no one can come see whatever cool dungeon I'm making!

Also I am good at grunt labor, if anyone needs any mind numbing tasks worked on!

Virtual Lego-Bricks eh? I remember the good old days of arguments in IRC becuase someone built their building a bit too big or in the wrong colour. Thankfully VLB was "just an error message" on my old computer and I couldn't run it until it was no longer the big thing. I managed not to get sucked in.

I play minecraft, and host a server.  But sorry, I only let people I know irl play on it...

On a side note, I'm building a 150x150 castle in it.

I used to play on Empire Minecraft, which had a reasonably good set of servers.

There are others, and will be unless one of us makes a server. Just wanted to try this one out.

Well, since it's PvP, I ran away for a bit then dug a hole in the ground.

It would be great if someone was able to set up a server just for us, I could help you with that.  Just make sure you have a windows computer (I wouldn't know how to otherwise) and that you have at LEAST 4 GB of RAM (I have that, and it doesn't work well, so you want more) (if you don't want to play on it, you could live with less).

You could dig? I'm so terrible at servers I couldn't figure out where to break and place blocks. I'm surprised you had to run, there were like 6 people on when I was there, and 1 was a mod.

Hmmm... The computer I use has only 2, and the one I'm not allowed to use (Moms work computer) has 8. Don't think it would work very well.

It's a great server. There isn't any actual PvP going on, and the staff is really nice. It's pretty empty, and I recommend you guys come on, hopefully we will meet each other. I have a house, happy to share with you.
