You can shoot from there.  You have a -2 penalty for wounds, and a -2 penalty for lighting.

Healing skill to remove wounds takes 10 minutes, so it's not really an in-combat thing.  (Stabilizing an incapacitated character with Healing is just an action though.  Also the Healing *Power* can be used as a single action.)

If you don't want to shoot, you could try a Smarts/Agility trick to help your melee-focused companions.  That would only suffer the -2 wound penalty.

[OOC]I'm a terrible GM, I've been distracted and neglecting this game.  I apologize.  Also, I'm going to consider Lekkit/Cliff as a kind of non-entity.  If he comes back and starts posting, he was there all along.  If he doesn't then he wasn't ever around.  I won't be including him in narration unless he starts posting.  @Lekkit: you've mentioned a couple times an intention to start posting, and hey we've just seen how I can also go a week or so with no posts, so it's not like I'm saying "don't come back" but rather, "I'm not going to wait for you/write you into situations until you do come back".[/OOC]

Sky Hawk turns around and tries to judge the situation through the darkness.  He hears Grant yell as the creature tears into him, and charges at the yell, tomahawk lifted high overhead, he leaps into the air for the last several feet as he brings the tomahawk swinging down.

Sky Hawk's swing goes wide as the creature twists out of the way.  It lands with both feet on the ground, to keep the two combatants in sight.

Oh, I didn't realize you were waiting on anything.  Amanda's turn was to attempt a smarts trick.  It failed (although an explanation of what trick she tried would still be appreciated, just something that would make sense as a distraction).

If you want to do something from last round, go ahead.

spiritbears has confirmed that he would be continuing to play, but then I went and didn't move the game forward for like a week.  In the future, if anyone ends up waiting for anything...feel free to bump the thread with what you are waiting for, since it's not always clear to me, and I'm likely to just push the game forward if it seems to have stalled for any reason.  (to the next round, next NPC action, or next event outside of combat)  Regardless, I'm sorry I let the latest stall go on for so long.[/OOC]
