9175. But I also had 4/5 of my locations in the United States, which made my guessing much easier.

The first one I thought somewhere in scandinava or canada, and guessed wrong, that was probably a bit hit.

I constantly get locations in Australia which look to me like they could be in North America somewhere which results in all sorts of stupidly low scores.

Australia<->America is actually pretty easy because they drive on the left lane.  South Africa, too I think, but haven't god anything from there...
Edit: And Japan, but that should be quite easy...

Feels kinda cheating, you can move through steets, find a telltele sign of a country/continent (mainly, brands of cars, road signs, or street names, shop names)..

Yepp, feels like it could use some time limit or weighting with time, I wandered around until I found some clue in which general area I am (best was: I a park, bikers driving on the right side.  Hmm, but better watch for a street.  Football field with sign: "University of Oregon".)

Like, just now, I've got a shoot of some official building with Hungary flag on it. How easier can it be? :P

It was in a middle of a forest or something. Not an embassy :D
Just got one where it said "LEFT - LAS VEGAS" right where I landed.

Romania (got that one because of a Romanian baker's truck) Hong Kong (got that one because I know Hong Kong pretty well), Poland (got that one because of a road sign), slightly missed with an island of the coast of China (I guessed near Beijing), Poland again (got that one thanks to another sign telling me right where I was.)

Nice, 25102.  I got put in rural South Korea, then inside a park in Japan, but wasn't able to place either of those two accurately.

Now 28652.  I a statue of a skeleton man walking a dinosaur in South Dakota on I-90, because I've driven by that place frequently before. (i'm from south dakota)

This is a cool idea, but I think the scoring system could probably use a little work. The score should decay depending on how much you move the street view map or how much time you take.

I like to imagine the Ozle Google Maps Challenge involves scouring Google Maps until you find a photo of Ozle. You know it's him because he is looking at the camera, giving a big thumbs up, and wearing a distinctive hat.

Is he wearing a red and white striped shirt and carrying a cane?

Was browsing the forum when I found this Gem. Now it's eating up my time.  ;D

I find that not allowing yourself to move around makes for a much less tedious and more challenging game.  Somehow I managed to guess within 20 miles in a spot in rural northern Sweden.
