So, we could run this through skype or gtalk. Basically it would work just like IRL mafia except that mafia could talk to each other during the night in a private conversation window and any role could be resolved in a private window with the mod.

We'd need 8+ interested people who could agree to a set time (you'd need to commit to 2 hours of consecutive online time or so, people could join midway for new games obviously. Drinking is not prohibited.).

Do we have enough interested people? I can be the mod. Also need to hash out a time, but that might be easier after we check if we even have sufficient interest.

Maybe... I am starting a new job the 29th and my schedule is about to get a lot busier. Sometime before then, especially during my afternoons, I could play. But I imagine everyone is going to have some sort of constraint around when they could commit ~2 hours and I don't expect everyone to adapt to my schedule, obviously.

I have recording and video editing software and could probably do it. The video could be made private as well(need to be a friend with me on YouTube, don't worry I have none) so as it could only be viewed by us.

As far as how to run it, Skype calls would work perfectly, the mod could set up separate private calls for separate qt's. placing calls on hold would work as locks and the chat system would work well in the call to stand as vote's.

Soooo, I think we should do this for sure. I think people should post a list of available times of day, and we could do it just like a big skype call with chat for voting the way we do on forum.

Oh and my girlfriend would probably want to/be able to play and or moderate, I tell her all about my mafia games and she has played some with our friends. Also I think regular mafia takes enough of my time away from her, I would want to include her in this.

Time that works best for me is 6-12pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday and 5-12pm Tuesday, Thursday. It could be done on a weekend as well, if we all had an available saturday or sunday. Also I don't think it needs to be done in one day, we could take our time if needed.
