Innovation Card List / Icon Analysis

[For the base game only.  If someone wants to tackle this for Echoes, be my guest.]

I've created a oft-requested Innovation card list here: http://innovation.boardgamestrategy.net/innovation-card-list/

In addition, this spreadsheet is a breakdown of all the cards' icons and is very helpful when trying to guess about icon probabilities ("How many more cards with castles are there for Metalworking to draw...?"): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ai0msB3_N-FhdEprRFpxdGFjYnRlZW1iUmJFN29udWc

Working on it.  I need the equivalent of for the Inspire icon in the bottom left:

dougz made all those icons, not me, and I don't know how to do it well.  Basically I just need someone to replace the box with a circle (same overall size).

That's perfect!  Though you can't see it too well on this forum it shows up nicely on the page.  Thanks!

EDIT: zaratustra is the man responsible for getting me all the echoes/figures card texts, by the way, so you should thank him.

No problem, I had it all written up on Magic Set Editor for a possible computer version before I discovered the Isotropic site.

thank you :D

EDIT: wow the figure cards are all crazy

Quote
Each inspire and echo effect on your board counts as part of this stack. When executing, order them from bottom to top, red, blue, green, purple, yellow.

so say... you tuck 9 echo effect with industrialization, you get all 9 of them when you trigger your yellow stack? :o
and it's age 2?

Quote
If you would claim an achievement, first return three cards from your hand.

If you do, claim all other cards in your hand as achievements, ignoring eligibility.

i guess it's a good thing figures in the sand isn't implemented... "i achieve 20 cards in my hand... gg!"

Quote
If you would splay a ffth color left, instead you win.

should be fifth

Quote
If you would claim an achievement, first if no other player has as many or more achievements as you, instead you win.

shouldn't the period go after "instead"? tought it sounded weird

My goodness. Those cards ARE crazy.

I wonder how long it'll take before Dougz has them on Isotropic...

I agree, but that's what the card says.

Very doubtful that FitS will ever come to Isotropic.  It's absolute insanity.

Amina Sukhera you have as saying "When you meld this card, score all opponents’ top figures of value ."  I assume there's an actual value there.

Napoleon Bonaparte has a couple spaces missing in "If you would score or return a card with a <Factory>, instead tuck it and score a top card of value6from anywhere."

Overall it looks like Echoes was the "Splay your cards, damnit" expansion, and Figures is the "Share your Dogmas, damnit" expansion, as if the designers thought those things weren't happening as often as they envisioned in just Base.

umm i've been wondering this for a while but do you share all the "If" and like effect with opponents that have more than that symbols than you?

like you have alexander the great,do opponent with more castle than you get the "use each player score" effect?

Karma are just passive effect that works on 'you' only.
It normally counts:

1) Entering effect:
Some effect happens when you meld this card. Usually it is 'opponent returns their figure(s)'

2) Passive effect:
There are three way:
a) Increase icons
b) Reduce difficulty of decree
c) Counts as achievement(s)

3) Replace Mechanism
This part is to alter the normal mechanism of the game.

Figures have at least one of them, but not all.

You can always use the null effect dogma of a figure to trigger any echo effects of that color, and that dogma action uses the featured icon of the figure.  Or you could even without any echo effects because you actually want to do nothing.  Yes, I actually have been in such a situation where my preferred move was "pass".  I think I ended up drawing, but it was pretty much only because it was the only thing that wasn't actively bad.

This happens in base game sometimes.  Twice now my best move has been doing absolutely nothing, not even drawing, so instead doing something like an Age 7 City States demand.  I haven't yet been in a true zugzwang situation, but I'm sure someone here has.

I know the word, but every time I see it, I can't help but see "Zug's Wang".
