Can a newb join the next game even if it isn't newb-themed? I'm not new to Mafia even if I haven't ever played forum. Read pretty mmany of them though so I guess I got the hang of it. Still won't be a good player though.. Will it ruin the fun for the others of you if it is a complex game and i risk to mess up things?

That's the moderator's call, but I'm sure you'd be welcome. We have plenty of newbies play in non-newbie games.

you can join any game you want, unless it specifically says that noobs aren't allowed.

You might still want to choose a simpler one though. Right now, two games are open for signups, the one is an RMM (role madness) and the other one actually a really noob friendly setup, a normal game with as semi open setup.

though, we're kind of short on players recently, so I think no-one would complain if you chose to join the RMM or both.

I can actually only think of one game that said newbies shouldn't play in, so I don't really think that would be much of a problem anyway.

Normal games aren't that much different from newbie games anyway, pretty much the only difference is that in newbie games, there are a lot of other newbies as well.

The Matrix-6 setup one is pretty newbie-friendly. I played that setup as my first game, and it was fine.

Nice. I take a chance and sign up for both. Granted I'll be more lost in the RMM, but those seems really funny, so I hope I will find some kind of notentirelysupahn00b-playstile soon enough to not be a...well.. bad noob.

You will be fine. My first game was dice mafia A decently complicated RMM game. And I think its still one of my favorite mafia games I've been in.

So as a Quaker I'm not going to take a pledge, but I do promise to uphold these rules. You have my word, that is good enough. If you want to discuss it further we can take it to rsp.
