Tag-lines for cards
« on: April 01, 2013, 08:48:06 am »

I've been thinking about having tag lines or slogans for each of the cards. Here are a few ideas:

Pearl Diver: It's technically better than nothing... most of the time.
Ruined Village: Hey, at least it's not a Curse!
(stolen from somebody on the forums, I think Qvist, but I'm not sure since I couldn't find the post) Chancellor: I'm better than a silver, I promise!

This list isn't complete at all, any suggestions?

Farming Village: Hey, at least that Curse is not a Ruined Village!

Explorer (thanks heron): They can't all be like the best $5 card ever. (thanks Robz)

Mountebank: You want to control how many cards are in your deck? HA! (possibly rewording this for better comedic delivery)

Mountebank: Jerks Win.

Band Of Misfits: And you thought Possession was the most confusing card.

Hunting Party: It's good for more than just a HP Stack

Pretty sure you're thinking of explorer, not counting house.

Masquerade: No, only one player gets to have fun in dominion.

The famous Explorer quote is from Donald. "Explorer is fine. Why do people even complain about Explorer? They can't all be like the best $5 card ever."

Nobles: Do you want me to be an expensive Smithy, or an expensive Necropolis, or two Estates?

Spy: Failing the Silver Test since Dominion: Base.

Duchess: I can't give this away.

Warehouse: Don't King me, bro.

Platinum: There are some things money can't buy. For everything else, there's Platinum.

Transmute: Ha! Made you read my text.

Hovel: Do you really want to buy that Estate?

Overgrown Estate: Whoever said a Victory card had to be worth at least 1?

Necropolis: Take that, Big Money!

Harvest: You don't need to be an adventurer to get $4.

Abandoned mine: Better than mine in a treasure-less hand.

Governor: Turn 15? not gonna happen.
