Thread for Goodbyes

Good bye everyone,

We all knew this day would come, when Isotropic would be no more. I have had a great time over the past year on Iso and on this forum. I have met many nice people along the way and have improved my playing skills dramatically. Thank you to everyone who has made this experience incredible. I wish you all a great life filled with prosperity and a cornucopia of blessings.

Farewell and take care,
Warrior

I'd just like to take this opportunity to say

HELLO!

I don't know how many people will actually be quitting this forum because Iso is going down.

I won't because I enjoy the forum games too much. :)

Yeah, I formed a new community among Dominion enthusiasts within the forum games. I'm certainly not leaving.

And I like playing Dominion, regardless of who is hosting it online, so I don't have a reason to leave.

But, I bid good wishes to those who are leaving.

I won't be leaving completely, but I will likely be visiting a lot less once Iso is gone, at least for a while.  So catch you all around I guess.

I like Dominion a little too much to leave immediately, but as I am also graduating and leaving university this month, it is very likely that I will never play another game of Dominion again, either over the internet or IRL.

Wow, you have a dire picture of post-college life. Are you going into the Peace Corps or something?

I'm going home. I have no friends at home. They are still in college. They will have actual jobs over the summer, whereas as of now I am going to do nothing but bum around until medical school starts. But hopefully that will change. Regardless it doesn't help my Dominion predicament.

That's Mister Mr Grumps to you, sonny!

But in all seriousness, I have been really irritable lately. Sorry for all the snark, everybody.

Sorry! Dondon was still updating his post with more info, which made my post outdated, so I deleted it which made your post outdated. Unless you were referring to some other deleted post, in which case this post is already outdated.

Goodbye, Dominion isotropic. I'm sad to say that, but after all those good days and nights we spent together, your time has come.
More than 2000 games in 10 months, at least 7 games per day on average, mostly 2p games... and more than 50% of victories, but never reached level 30.

I won't forget
->those crazy games with king's court and wharf
->or even from chapeled decks with province every turn,
->those bishop golden decks,
->those mining-gold tunnels,
->the awesomeness of torturer chains,
->those sorrows from swindlers,
->those bridge+village+scrying pool engines,
->those failed attempts to boost vineyards
->the fact a game that takes easily 20 minutes irl may take only 5 minutes there
->and many others...

And to Dominionstrategy :
->the meme tread
->the bad card ideas contest, from Rinkworks (yes, it is bad because I didn't win any contest and I hate Almoner, Pawn Shop and Aqua Vitae... okay, i'm just rageing !)
->the really bad card tread, from Rinkworks too
->the scout jokes...

Chocolate is like victory points in Dominion. Both taste good but they'll hurt you if you eat too much of it instead of something else in your early days.
