It doesn't specify a year, could be March 15th 2014!

Why 2014? I personally wouldn't mind 2097.

He didn't specify a calendar designation.  It's 2014 AD, After Dominion.

I haven't really played much the last year (especially not august-december last year), but I have actually started to semi-enjoy Dominion again, and the fact that isotropic finally looks to close down is truly sad. I doubt I will ever play Dominion online again once Goko is the only choice available.. :(

I am confident that Iso has a future.  Goko, not so much.  But regardless, as I write in another thread, I am not about to call for a boycott of any company at all -- RGG, Goko, or otherwise.  I will continue to play Dominion tabletop, I will most likely purchase a copy of Innovation to play tabletop, and I will continue to patronize Iso in whatever manner I can.  Asmadi Games is sticking its neck out (thank you, Chris C.) in ways that Jay Tummelson used to, and I'd like to encourage this kind of innovation (pun intended).

RGG signing up with Goko was as much a risk as Asmadi allowing iso to implement Innovation. Probably more so.

I really want Doug to leave the leaderboard up and remove the played-in-last-week requirement so we can all watch our ranks slowly decay.

Absolutely.  No argument from me there.  Just saying, Jay T. is taking the next step and Chris C. is taking what for Jay was the first one.  Both stand-up guys, but whether RGG signing on with Goko proves to be as much a mistake as I think it was?  Only time will tell.

Seeing this official cutoff date for the first time.  Had to disable Adblock Plus.

Well, it's been a fun run.  Four more days until I can start being a lot more productive -- or just browse reddit instead : )

Man, this is a lot sadder after reading this thread for some reason...  I'm only able to play once a week right now, and suddenly I go to isotropic and it's shutting down.  I need to play all I can today...

When exactly on March 15th will it shut down?  I am planning an all day Dominionfest but is it midnight or 11:59:59 PM on the 15th?

Time zone is a grander question than haggling for that measly minute.

isotropic time zone is usually GMT-8.  And I don't think CopperCopper was talking about a second, but about 23h 59m 59sec.

You should start a new account and see what level you can get on your 24 hour Dominionfest.

Isotropic is a utilitarian implementation.  It's exactly the kind of implementation I want to play -- I'd secretly wished for approximately ever that someone would implement Innovation at the same level of usable quality that Iso Dominion had been made with.  I can safely say that I'll never oppose the existence of Isotropic.  It's already translated to sales!  Whether Iello doesin the future though, is not in my hands.  I see absolutely no reason that a flashy iPad or PC version of Innovation can't co-exist with this version.  If your flashy for-pay version isn't substantially cooler than what we've got here, its probably not worth selling

I'm just thrilled that hundreds of games of Innovation are going on online every day.

I do think Innovation is better suited to the utilitarian approach than Dominion is.  My one gripe is that if you've got a lot of cards in play, particularly when splayed, and you have cards in hand, things start to inch off of the screen, such as the counters for the icons, which are kind of important to see.
