We all know that there are jerks out there.  There's no way to report spoil sports and other such people however we can create a comprehensive list of people who constantly show bad sportsmanship.

Don't play with Ozle, that moaning cantankerous old git! He almost broke Anne Hathaway's marriage, smuggles rare Tuvaluan crabs for a living, likes Justin Bieber, plays bingo regularly and is generally a questionable dude. Oh and before I forget, I hold him responsible for stealing my nickname too!

On a more positive note, at least he saved some dolphins from the threat of landmines that had floated down the arctic due to global warming so I guess even he isn't all bad.

How is this ok? Guilty until proven innocent? Please, I'm not saying you have to play with people you don't like, but public shaming and mob justice is not the way to go.

Actually, that thread was quite ok for about a year or so and only after this got nasty, because of I have forgotten why.  I probably think we could try and restart this, but not just as list like here, but with funny little stories as before.  Actually, once in a while someone posts a new thread which could have fit in "People to avoid", but somehow there seem to be to little people to avoid so that sdoesn't survive...

But just a list, I would know why I shouldn't play with someone, so just read the name on a list does not lead to nothing.

the trouble is that if we stickied everything that might be useful we'd have a dozen threads stickied in every forum. this is kind of why i started the faq and, as an extension of that, why we have the wiki. as it happens, we sort of already do have a list on the wiki. (wow i need to trim up the editing on that page) at the very least i hit many of the regularly repeated threads. i can try to update this specifically for this sort of thing when i get home, or of course you all could contribute and edit some in yourselves, it is open editing.

but the reality is that these sorts of lists are not worth their trouble, as has been discussed each other time this topic came up. not only do they just foster ill will, they are easily worked around as it takes two seconds to change a user name.

As a mere matter of cost/benefit analysis, I think this list would be a waste of time. (Then, again, as a matter of cost/benefit analysis, I'm sure the post I'm writing right now is a waste of time.)

Out of thousands of games played on isotropic, I've spent a total of about 10, maybe 15, playing against people who were so obnoxious I would avoid them in the future.

To check this list before playing somebody would take up way more time than it would ever be worth.

Life is too short to worry about this.  If someone really bothers you (and remember you can mute people) you can always make your own topic, people talk about it and empathize, then the topic goes away.  I'd rather not have a permanent "complain about people" topic given how it turned out last time.
