http://innovation.isotropic.org/gamelog/201301/13/game-20130113-195228-7a54045d.html

But with the most unlucky last turn ever for my opponent...

--requ1em's turn 21 --
requ1em applies the dogma of Software[10].
... requ1em draws and scores a [10].
... requ1em draws and melds Robotics[10].
... requ1em draws and melds A.I.[10].
... requ1em excecutes A.I.[10].
... ... requ1em draws and scores a [10].

Drab Emordnilap wins by A.I.!

Only knowing the basic gameplay, I don't know how to read this log at all.  Mind explaining that last turn for us non-Innovators? :)

... ok i'll bite.

Basically AI has a wicked winning condition by having the lowest score. But this really never happens on purpose, as it requires both software and robotics on board, which are age 10 cards where in general lots of wacky things can happen that you cannot really control.

Additionally, a few cards in Ages 9 & 10 can cause you to activate the dogma effects of other cards - in the case of Software, it makes you draw and meld a card, then execute it. Often this is great, since you don't have to share the effects with anyone else and the 10s are nice powerful cards. But every so often, it'll pull something like this, just like playing a Golem and having it find the one Scout in your deck. So here, Software pulled out Robotics and AI, then executed AI, which includes the clause something like "If Software and Robotics are top cards on anyone's board, the player with least score immediately wins".

Other people already basically explained, but yeah. Software (scores 10 points and) makes you draw and meld (put into play) two cards from age 10, and then dogma (activate) the second card, which in this case was A.I. A.I. scores you 10 points also, but then checks to see if both Software and Robotics are on the board, and if so, the A.I. goes rogue and conquers the planet, and the player with the lowest score wins. (They are less important, and so have less to get squished by our glorious robot overlords.)

The part that makes it tragic/hilarious is that, when he activated Software, neither Robotics nor A.I. was even on the board yet, and Software hit the exact two cards, in the correct order, to force him to have me win the game. From the beginning of age 6, where I was stuck at.

It can be happen in the age of lost control (age 10 lol)

Thought AI Software Robotics is quite rare...... averaging 1 in 300-400 games lol

Huh. I wasn't stuck in age 1, but I was kind of stuck in age 6, and he was using Mathematics the same way to get to the 10s. Neat.
