Most Reshuffles by the end of turn 6

Rules:
1)Assume perfect shuffle luck (as always)
2)Shuffling an Inn into your deck counts as reshuffling your deck
3)No 2nd player- you are the only person.

I got 10 without Chancellor. Good luck.

Open:
Sage/Death Cart: shuffle

Play:
T3: Hand is: Dthcrt/Sage/Ruin/2C: Sage -> Find nothing -> Dthcrt (trash ruin): Buy Kc : shuffle & draw
T4: Hand is: Dthcrt/Sage/Ruin/Kc/C: Kc -> Sage (find nothing, shuffle, find nothing, shuffle, find nothing) -> Dthcrt (trash ruin) -> buy Bv/Rebuild: Shuffle & draw
T5: Hand is Dthcrt/Sage/Kc/Rebuild/Bv: Kc -> Sage (find nothing, shuffle, find nothing, shuffle, find nothing) -> Rebuild (name Oge, shuffle, find nothing) -> Dthcrt (trash Dthcrt): buy Bv/Procession: shuffle & draw
T6: Hand is Kc/Prssn/Sage/Bv/Bv: Kc -> Prssn -> Bv (draw Rebuild, C, trash Bv, gain Kc) -> Rebuild (name Oge, find nothing, shuffle, find nothing, trash rebuild, gain Bv/Rebuild) -> Bv (shuffle, draw Kc/Bv, trash Bv, gain Kc) -> Bv (draw Rebuild) -> Kc -> Sage (shuffle, draw to last card, draw Kc, shuffle, find nothing, shuffle, find nothing) -> Kc -> Rebuild (name Oge, find nothing, shuffle, find nothing, shuffle, find nothing): shuffle & draw

If I'm counting correctly, that should mean 17 shuffles by the end of turn 6. I strongly suspect that one of the gain all cards by the end of T5 solutions should be able to work without chancellor and then you can get 50 shuffles from mass Prssn -> Rebuild (gain Bv/Graverobber) -> Bv -> Graverobber (gain Rebuild) Kc -> Kc -> Rebuild on T6.

The big cards seem like they will be the multiple plays: Kc, Tr, Band of Misfits, and Prssn, the gainers: Prssn, Bv, Iw, Bridge, and the autoshufflers: Sage (if no card is worth more 3 presently), Inn [Brg -> Iw (gain an Inn & shuffle), Graverobber (gain an Inn) -> Reshuffle] and Rebuild (if there is one one type of VP card in deck - like just OGE or just Estate).

No scavenger either. In fact, I did it without any DA cards. I assume Sage could easily improve my score.

I could do it off of a 3/3.

Be third player. First two players open with masquerade and silver. They pass a silver into your hand before turn two, buy Mandarin.

Powerman's suggestion breaks "1) Perfect shuffle luck", and was obviously meant to be humorous. My attempt humor was more subtle.

The real question then: With worst shuffle luck, how many turns does it take to hit 5? My first guess is Scheme/Horse Traders opening... maybe 7?

You HT to hit a hand with two coppers or a silver in it. If you play scheme and HT in one turn, you're guaranteed to have two coppers either this turn or next. So worst shuffle luck should be T3 or T4 HT, then T5 scheme (it doesn't matter as long as scheme comes after HT), topdecking itself twice to hit the HT on the bottom of the deck. HT/Scheme gets 8, which seems suboptimal.

So on the 3/4 split, we can guarantee at most 2 shuffles, though it's just a turn away from being 1 shuffle -- maybe something else is faster. Jack guarantees either having 5 or trashing an estate, maybe that helps?

And of course this is all moot because hitting 5 with HT doesn't let you topdeck 5 treasures...

Guys, this puzzle is about getting the most reshuffles, not the least.

That doesn't work... they couldn't play Masquerade before your second turn. You could do it with Noble Brigand tricks though.

You're right. The other flaw is that SCCC doesn't stop the reshuffle with Mandarin. Also, if anybody opens NB, you reshuffle turn two. So the best you can do on a 3/4 is one reshuffle.
