The starting board is below, see the opening post for some cool Diplomacy resources and tools.

Please send me the moves by PM before the deadline (I will try to be strict yet kind, a difficult and narrow path to walk). 

First deadline is Tuesday, January 8th at 2pm forum time (Early submissions allowed and encouraged; if you change your mind at any time, new moves will be accepted up until I have posted the updated map)

...spin-offs are still better for all of the previously cited reasons.
But not strictly better, because the spinoff can have a different cost than the expansion.

Can somebody smart help me with how one can put the gamestate into a post without using an attachment that Chrome users can't see?

If it's a picture, upload it somewhere then put it in with [img] tags.

Hey, shraeye, thanks for hosting, but can you put the text for the regions on? You can choose "short labels" and this shows only the three letter abbreviations. I think that's the best way, I don't know all the regions by heart.

You can also save this stuff as default so you don't have to switch it every time you start the program.

Hi all. Finally finished reading the rules. I have a tentative understanding of the rules, but very little understanding of the strategy. I obviously don't know how much discussion has taken place in the other QTs, but I've said very little in any of mine, please don't hold that against me! I'll try to come up with some reasonable ideas in the next 12 hours or so.

Additionally, since no retreats are necessary, we move immediately into the Fall discussion phase.  Deadline is 2pm (forum time) on Friday, Jan 11th.

It's too large for me to read directly because of forum formatting, however I can open the image link directly and view it separately without issue. So no problems! If you provide the jdip attachments I can just download those and view them straight from my gallery while on the fly - but it's not a huge issue.

I think the image size is great. It cuts off a little at the right requiring me to scroll, but there's not really anything there so it's all good.
