Money and VP images distracting in inline text

The money/VP icons inline in the text substantially hurt the readability of the text for me.  I guess my mind has a "text mode" and an "images" mode, and the icons trigger "images" mode.  This causes a kind of context switch in my brain and it is generally distracting.

I know it's well-intentioned, but I think the icons might be overdesigned.

I'm not super bothered by them, but I see where you're coming from.

I'm more bothered by the fact that copy/paste is a little broken by the images.  Currently, if you try to copy/paste it, you get:

"Ideally you will hit Coin8.png or Coin11.png exactly each turn."

It'd be nice if you copy/paste and it turns into "hit $8 or $11 exactly".

I believe alternate text can do that.
e: What browser are you using as I can't seem to reproduce that in Chrome
