Just wanted to take an opportunity now that I'm eliminated to say a big thank you to Theory, Jonts and GreatExpectations for allowing us to have another DS 2012 championship!

I was thinking about it, it would be a lot of work and I don't think everyone eliminated would enter but I'd be willing to help run it.

Speaking of which, that video must have taken forever to render!  +1 for uploading what was certainly a sad result for you. =(

If Theory gives me a board for it and someone else wouldn't mind helping with the losers bracket I'll try and make it happen.

Thanks. Cutting, rendering and uploading took about 5 hours. But while rendering and uploading you can do other stuff, so it's fine.

a true loser's bracket is really tricky to pull off. people not responsive, people not interested, extra effort to set up, etc. that being said i think the best idea is to just setup a mini tournament with anyone interested. start another thread in this subforum (i dont think a full board is necessary, one registration thread and one results thread will cover it) and start pulling in registrants. there is no way you will hit all 128, so maybe do first 64 (32 if you can't hit 64) in the door and close it off there.

i wouldn't mind helping out with seeds or bracketing but i can't guarantee any help from us past that. and i would advise just trying to copy the overall tournament rules and scheduling to avoid any headaches.
