— mqs's turn 21 —
mqs plays a Trusty Steed.
... drawing 2 cards.
... gaining 4 Silvers and putting the deck into the discard.
... ... revealing a Watchtower.
... ... putting the Silver on the deck.
... ... revealing a Watchtower.
... ... putting the Silver on the deck.
... ... revealing a Watchtower.
... ... putting the Silver on the deck.
... ... revealing a Watchtower.
... ... putting the Silver on the deck.
(mqs reshuffles.)
(mqs draws: 3 Curses, a Province, and a Copper.)

My hand drawn was NOT my silvers I just put there. I was counting on that Province to outpace my opponent's colonies. I won, barely, in the end (to my surprise). And here I thought all this time Iso's been 100% bug free (in card implementation)!

You gain the 4 Silvers putting them on your deck and then put your deck into your discard. So, it seems perfectly fine.

It is not a bug.  You gain 4 Silvers thus triggering Watchtower's reaction and put them on top.  However, after this, the next clause of Trusty Steed is triggered in which you place your deck in your discard pile.

Hello.  Name's Bruce.  It's all right.  I understand.  Why trust a shark, right?

Is quite curious - Who is the mystical "Celestial Chameleon"?

Wow, I never saw that clause before on the Steed. I've played it wrong so many times in paper! Thanks.

Yeah.  It's a bit confusing on isotropic since the last option is abbreviated to simply gain 4 silvers, but I guess a fuller description would be rather long.  Still, confusing for anyone who hasn't played Cornucopia IRL.

Does anyone else think the Trusty Steed looks like he's wearing sunglasses upon first glance?

To me he looked like a Cygnar steed from WARMACHINE, so goggles, lightning generators and stuff like that.

With the way the card is worded it seems that the gain four silvers and put the deck into the discard happen at the same time.  That should mean that you could choose the order in which the two happen and thus choose to put the deck into the discard before gaining the silvers.  Am I missing something here?

You always go in order along the card.  Simultaneous events occur when multiple effects are triggered at once.  That's not happening here.

By the way, if you choose cards and silver/discard, you again go in order.  First you draw two cards, then you gain four silvers, then you put your draw deck into your discard.  You don't get to gain the silvers and "discard" first, and then draw.

As Peebles said... also think of Mountebank. You have to gain the Curse before you gain the Copper.
