Game link conversions

Would it be possible to have a feature in the council room where you can paste an isotropic game link into a text box and the webpage will convert the link into a council room link, perhaps launching the game record?

It will just save idiots like myself from muddling about trying to decipher the formats.

Is this a pain point for a lot of people?

http://dominion.isotropic.org/gamelog/201108/31/game-20110831-202359-36ec0ed2.html

http://councilroom.com/game?game_id=game-20110831-202359-36ec0ed2.html

Going from iso link to cr link seems especially easy.  Just hack out that last file name part and prepend http://councilroom.com/game?game_id= .

Are there lots of dead links around that I am just not clicking on?

Ha, I made the exact same feature request a couple months ago.

It makes it a lot easier to automate this process, especially when you are mass-converting several links.

There aren't a lot of dead links, but Isotropic game links won't load for me at work.  I have seen others report the same experience.  I usually copy the end of the link as you described, but I would be happy to see something that made it a bit easier.
