Is there anything to be done about the redlinks for all the artists? Because right now, looking at "wanted pages" just gives you a list of all the artists for Dominion cards. http://wiki.dominionstrategy.com/index.php/Special:WantedPages is basically not usable because that's all that's visible.  I don't think putting in bios for all those people is relevant to dominion strategy... at least, I ain't gonna be the one to do it

Oh, and the Wanted Pages list also has a bunch of requests for filenames of the form "Something-new.jpg". Like http://wiki.dominionstrategy.com/index.php/Special:WhatLinksHere/File:Dame_Anna-new.jpg or http://wiki.dominionstrategy.com/index.php/Special:WhatLinksHere/File:Death_Cart-new.jpg or something. I tried to look at the pages and I couldn't figure out where those links are coming from... somewhere in some template... I'll keep digging. But I don't think there actually is anything to put in "Death Cart-new.jpg", there's only one death cart image as far as I know?

i think the best bet is to just do what i did with the tournament listings. just create one big page which lists all of the illustrators, and then anytime they come up just link to their location on that page. [[Card_Artists#Joe_Artist|Joe Artist]] is a little harder than [[Joe Artist]] but it isn't too bad. especially if we only have to do it on each card page once.

without any other real information on the artists having a separate page for each seems silly. as it is it's almost hard to justify dougz and donald having their own pages until they get filled in more.

I was going to suggest this also. It should do the trick. Also, I think almost every link to an artist is in a card box, which means we can just change the template and should get almost all of the links.

It must be a typo with some of the cards... I also noticed Martin Hoffman vs. Martin Hoffmann.

Just finished creating the necessary redirects (typos included)... now to finish the actual "List of illustrators" article...

They are the same guy; I don't know if it's a mistake or an intentional change on his part.

I did some research when I edited the Artist name. When there where several spellings, like Claus Stephan or Martin Hoffmann or Marcel-Andre Cassasola-Merkle I looked up on BGG and Wikipedia and searched for the artists homepage and used the name I assumed is right.

Actually I wanted to take the artists name from the box on each page of category:card, but this one will also work...

Small mistake: The mouseover effect shows for Claus Stephan, Martin Hoffmann, Ryan Laukath the old base card picture (Copper, Colony. Curse, Potion etc.). Those artists only made the new ones though (the original ones were made by Catrein I think).

I think we have to change the template to preview the new images...

I just added a new template, NewCard. It just gets $card-new.jpg instead of $card.jpg so that the new art for the Base Cards can be used when hovering over.

I just copied the Card template and changed the file it gets, so there might be a better/cleverer way to handle this, but it seemed good enough. Just use {{NewCard|Province}}.

:e I have applied the NewCard template to the list on the Base Cards page, and the Base Cards section in the Navbox Cards.
