dougz is just trying to prepare us for the eventual shift to goko by giving us tiny things to hate. he couldn't do it too blatantly or we would catch on.

Well, it's easier to program it this way.

On the other hand, I believe other forced trashers may forceful trash your last cards.
Trading Post has this and I'm too lazy to check others.
