Goofy Three-Pile Victories

You know the scenario. You're hopelessly behind, your opponent's engine is perfectly tuned, the game is all but over... but the score is 0-0 and a few piles are low. Cue crazy three-pile to snatch a 1-0 victory from nowhere.

This is a call for any interesting three-pile logs you have. Here's mine from today, in which I gain a GM, 3 Upgrades, and 2 Menageries to win 1-0 from a deck of 5 Upgrades, 5 Menageries, a GM, a Horse Traders, 3 Silver, a Copper, and an Estate. It's not incredible, but it's one of the more unusual paths to three piles I've seen. This game is also a lesson on why maybe you don't need to cheese out your GM engine when you're miles ahead.

The Log:

The Path:
HT > Upgrade
Silver > HT > Upgrade (x2)
Upgrade > GM
Buy Menagerie (x2)

The Turn:

I didn't save the log and unfortunately I can't get it, but I just played one yesterday which resulted very similarly.  I got hopelessly behind due to GM snowballing.  The relevant cards are City, Fool's Gold, Wharf and Grand Market.  The FG's were split 5/5 and Cities/Wharfs were getting picked up.  For some reason, I couldn't get GM's myself and my opponent grabs the lion's share of them.  He gleefully picks up 3 on his last turn leaving 2 GM's, 1 City and 0 FG.  Keep in mind that my only non-copper cash is in the form of 5 FG.  I am able to draw through my deck via City/Wharf on my last turn and pile out the game resulting in a shared victory.

As Stealth Tomato mentioned, a good lesson when you're winning is to buy insurance VP cards and slowly progress toward the inevitable 3-pile.  Otherwise you risk some weird shenanigans by your opponent to steal your victory.

Hello.  Name's Bruce.  It's all right.  I understand.  Why trust a shark, right?

Is quite curious - Who is the mystical "Celestial Chameleon"?
