- My opponent plays a Knight.
- The first card I reveal from my deck is a Rats.
- The second card I reveal from my deck is Card X.
- I choose to trash the Rats.

What card do I draw after trashing the Rats?  Is it Card X?  Or does Card X get discarded, and I draw the next card in my deck after Card X?

Is the answer different if the first card I reveal is Card X, while the second card I reveal is the Rats?

When you trash Rats, X is still in limbo, being looked at, and isn't in your deck. So, you draw the next card in your deck, and then discard X.
