Had to check myself just because of this. Love it.

So no, no dice here either.

The monster is a tumbl-beast - from the oatmeal.

If you haven't seen the oatmeal before - then i apologize for wasting the rest of your day.

FAQ for new lobbies.

Quote
Lobbies
What are the different lobbies?
The server now has four different lobbies, in the hopes that this makes it easier to find good opponents. You pick your initial lobby on the nickname selection screen, and can move between lobbies by using the dropdown on the upper right. Naturally, the four lobbies are named for Dominion cards:

Great Hall – this is the default lobby; it works just like the old single lobby did. It's intended for casual play.

Council Room – intended for people who consider themselves "serious" players and want to play with other "serious" players. There's no standard for "serious" — no minimum ranking or anything; you don't even have to be logged in — but hopefully everyone will sort themselves out and find opponents they are happy with.

Secret Chamber – intended as a rendezvous point for people who are trying to play games with specific people (their RL friends, etc.) and aren't interested in games with random strangers. Auto-match is disabled in this lobby.

Courtyard – intended as a place to get games going quickly for people who aren't too picky about their opponents or their cards. Auto-match is the only way to start a game in this lobby. Instead of the checkboxes next to each name, you can see the player's auto-match settings: the game size(s) they're interested in, a ◆ if they only want to play with registered players, a ▲ if they require use of the point tracker, or a ▽ if they prohibit it.

If you time out of an auto-match request, or decline 3 proposed games, or sit there for too long without turning on auto-match, you'll get kicked out of this lobby and put in the Great Hall lobby instead. Play games!
How does this affect the leaderboard?
It doesn't (other than indirectly, via who you end up playing against). Any game between two or more registered players is counted toward the leaderboard, no matter what lobby it was started in.

Awesome. Gonna be in Courtyard a lot. GTFO with your card restrictions. Maybe pop in to Council Room every now and then too.

Courtyard should kick you out for declining any game.

I agree with this but I'm much more happy with Courtyard now than the old lobby. (In theory. I haven't actually used it yet)

I'm getting a "Verification Error" every time I try to log in through credentials and the Tumbl monster when using "Play without logging in".

I'm currently unable to log on - well, I can, but as soon as I get in, it gives me "Welcome, <none>!" followed by a short blank white space and then the line that has the chat box, exit and faq links, etc.
Anyone else having this issue?

I have a question about the new lobbies, and I hope this is a good place to ask it. Are the auto-match players in "Great Hall" pooled together with those in the "Courtyard", you know, behind the scenes?

I hope so. I can't imagine why that would not be a good idea. Thoughts?

Well, it seems, unfortunately, no one is using Courtyard.  Doesn't surprise me much, because it always seems like most of the players like to decline 50% or more of the games Auto Match suggests.

I hope not. People get kicked from Courtyard to Great Hall for declining matches or timing out or other bad auto-matching behaviours and if I would still then be auto-matched against them then the kick wouldn't have really solved much.

Just a note: I haven't really seen anybody be in any lobby other than great hall (maybe on average 1 person per other lobby at any given time)

I imagine that my behavior (logging into one of the other lobbies, noting that it's empty, and moving to GH) is pretty standard, and can't really be fixed until a critical mass of people sit in one of the empty lobbies waiting for matches..

Good point, T.i.n.a.s. I neglected that aspect of Courtyard lobby.

Regarding the low numbers of people -- I was thinking that in the case of the Courtyard, the low population was because the lobby was working as intended? ???
