This game isn't a great example, because I only saw the combo a few turns in so I never got the density of golems that I should have:

Was helped more here by the presence of chancellor to give an extra +2 and still have everything thrown in the discard. If I'd gotten a couple more golems, I would've considered buying some extra copper, but i was stalling out enough on the golems as it was due to all the other cash I'd put into the deck when I started big money.
