Finally played a game I'm proud of

Building a engine for megaturn(s), got my first megabuy and was thinking of loading up on $1 Council Rooms to complete the deck (I was ahead on villages and hamlets, so actions were plentiful).  I looked again, and with 7 buys bought 7 free cards to 3 pile.

Weird to win by a score of 3 to 1.

It feels great to win on early 3 piles doesn't it? :)

PS. Opening with a trasher probably makes it easier for you (ie. Remake) to build such a mega-turn deck.

Just try and solitaire the same set/strategy with remake to start.

Very interesting... so with Hamlets there was no need for Remakes? My instinct would be to open Remake/Workshop. Just tried this in solitaire and piled out in 14 turns, but I forgot to pick up a Council Room or two. So, what do you think of Remake here, and why didn't either of you use it in the game?

Can't say why my GF didn't use it, but I don't buy it because I only draw it with coppers.

You just nuke the coppers. 

Ultimate remake is Remake + 2 Copper + 2 Estates, where you make 2 silvers and buy a hamlet, but nuking 2 coppers is nothing to sneer at.

If you are drawing it without a Bridge in play, it will just trash the coppers, since Remake only trashes something into a card worth +1, and there wouldn't be anything. Just cleans up the clutter if you aren't relying on the coppers.

So you remake 2 coppers into vapor. When remake comes up again with 4 more coppers, do you nuke 2 more?  If so, there will be only 3 coin in your deck.

Yep.  You'll still have those estates that will be made into silvers - solving your coin dilemma.

Of course, I also curse DXV and the random number gods when bad luck like this happens as well.
