It took me forever to actually go into this forum and look at stuff so I just assumed you guys always talked about a game called Looking for Lunchtime.

Could be a good game!

Start off in an office cubicle, have to avoid the various co-workers, bosses, clients on the phone to finally get to the outside to start your lunch. Lose and you end up eating at your desk

Make Victory Point mechanism a 'steps to the door' count, say its 40.
Two and fro cards to be played on each other (Your wife is on Line 1) , coupled with an event deck (office wide meeting)

Would be best played with 4 players.

Made a quick version of this in my lunchtime.

The Theme:
Its Nearly lunchtime and you want to get to the sandwich van quickly before the good stuff runs out (We've all been there right?)
You need to collect enough money, and get to the Van before anyone else!

Layout
Its board based, but with cards.
Each player starts at his Desk in one of the corners.
There are spaces for moving between each corner, and as a diagonal through the middle, and two side passages off the top and bottom.
The top goes to an ATm, the bottom goes to the sandwich van

THe BOSS is placed in the middle.

Play:
You have to collect $7 and get to the sandwich van first.
There are various squares on the board that do stuff like special events (Call a meeting, everyone go to the meeting room square) and 'Your wife is on Line 1' (Player has to go back to his desk) and so on.

There are also cards/Squares that let you move the Boss. Anyone caught by the boss has a penalty (Either miss turns or back to desk, etc..)

You can play cards to block pathways, move other players, gain money, etc...

Should be quite a cut throat enviroment with a lot of back stabbing to get players to target other players instead of you
