Here are some threesies puzzles. What do the three cards have in common? It won't be something most or many Dominion cards share - #2 isn't "they all cost $4" - but will not necessarily be unique to those three cards.

1. Apothecary, Followers, Tournament
2. Coppersmith, Mining Village, Smithy
3. Bureaucrat, Harem, Navigator
4. Bridge, Curse, Horn of Plenty
5. Ambassador, Bag of Gold, Young Witch
6. City, Followers, Walled Village
7. Black Market, Possession, Watchtower
8. Curse, Followers, Harem
9. Ambassador, Fairgrounds, Mountebank
10. Counting House, Goons, Nobles

These are really hard!

7. These cards let you play cards that you don't have in your deck at the beginning of your turn?
9. These are all cards that give you a positive benefit to having curses in your deck?

3. Bureaucrat - He works at the most boring place, Navigator - He works at the most lonely place, Harem - Those girls "work" at the best place!

#1 - Cards that have 3 imperative (?) verbs?

Apothecary - reveal, put, put.
Followers - gain, gains, discards.
Tournament - reveal, gain, discard.

This is at least plausible, though it's shared with a few other cards:

4. They all have an unadulterated "0" coin symbol printed on them somewhere.

Not really something they have in common, but it makes them an interesting grouping of 3 cards:

8. This group of 3 cards represents 6 different card types with no duplicates (Curse, Treasure, Victory, Action, Attack, Prize). No other group of 3 cards matches or exceeds this feat.

Out on a limb here:

10. Each card image has one person wearing a cloak.

Not sure about this one either, since it's another fairly weak association shared with several other cards:

5. They all explicitly mention the Supply.

7 - Black Market and Possession allow you to buy outside your own buy phase. The watchtower is the only other action card that you can play while buying outside your own buy phase (perhaps).

10 - Goons and Nobles cover all the possible + somethings seen on Dominion cards. Counting Houses ... show that the other actions put or gain rather than add, maybe?

10:  All three cards have a VP symbol on them of a different size:  One large, one small and one in the art

3. The art of each card features a character whose eyes are obscured in some way. (Trying to word it general enough to cover all 3: Navigator has one eye closed, presumably the other open, but hidden; the foremost Harem character's eye is obscured by the edge of the art; and the Bureaucrat's buddy on the right has his eyes closed.)

Dawwww, I was actually most sure of my #8 answer, but I guess it's not what you were looking for.

Lemme try again:

7. They are all cards that let you do things in phases other than when you would normally be able to do them. BM lets you buy and play treasures in the action phase, watchtower lets you move cards around in the buy phase, and possession lets you do things in the opponent's turn.

I have something that works for 6, but I fear it's far too common.  I'm going to put in spoiler some other cards that share the description I came up with: Militia, Ghost Ship, Conspirator, Minion, Scout, Goons, and probably more - it just seems way too common even if it is slightly interesting and non-obvious.

edit: New idea: They all have at least part of a tree that's still alive in the artwork. I count 6 other such cards in Alchemy, Prosperity, and Cornucopia (combined) and stopped looking.

This would be nice, but doesn't say Trusty Steed have the same types as followers? This would work if it were diadem though.

Trusty Steed is Action-Prize and shares that typing with princess and bag of gold. Followers is Action-Attack-Prize and is unique. Diadem is also unique, however.

That isn't what I was going for, but hey, look at that.

Razzishi got #1 and #8.

Well there are a ton of other cards that would work here but

#3 These represent three different ways of giving you $2 to spend (action phase, buy phase, next turn).

6. Each card's function is equivalent to another card plus something else? (City, Walled Village = Village + more, Followers = Witch + more)
