Dirty Cards

Some of my cards, especially the Estates and the Coppers, have a lot of dirt stuck onto them due to overusage and not always the most sanitary playing conditions. Any of you have a hint about how to clean them without damaging the cards themselves? I've tried dry towels but it was no use. I can barely fit the Copper deck into it's proper place so any help would be much appreciated.

Latext gloves for all players?

It's going to be pretty tricky to apply any kind of moisture to them without the risk of damage. Some work with cotton buds may be in order, however that would take you ages. It would probably be more efficient to do a few hours of paid work and buy a new set..

Also, sleeves for the cards.

I use card sleeves.  You'll want to buy about 10% more than you need because they don't last forever.  Remember to buy the same colour for all your cards.

I'm so disappointed that this thread was about physical dirt on cards, and not about some secret alternate printing of Harem.  Name your posts appropriately people.

Naming was on purpose exactly because it's not obvious and it might attract in more users who may have opinions about it. :) (btw shame on you  ;D )

@ the rest of the repliers: thanks for the ideas, more of them are welcome, mostly because these weren't "cleaning" ideas. :)

I never eat while playing board games. I drink beer.  8)
