Now that the Dark Ages cards are revealed... What's missing?
« on: August 16, 2012, 07:20:41 pm »

Here's a What's Missing where I think the pattern will be fairly easy to spot, but the missing card might be a little harder to identify.

Counterfeit
Cultist
Golem
King's Court
Procession
Throne Room
Venture

Honorable mention: Band of Misfits

What's missing? (The correct answer is not necessarily from Dark Ages.)

...And now, Herald and Prince as well!

Scout.

Actually, I think I'm just going to start guessing scout on all of these, including ones where scout is in the list.

Can I just post what I think the pattern is?

Cards that have you play other cards without giving +action.  Counterfeit, Venture and Black Market are sneaky in that they do it with Treasure.

Oh, that's true. I saw the pattern basically but I was struggling to find one that matched the exact pattern. Black Market      is sneaky but that's gotta be it.

I'm just going to guess band of misfits acting as the correct answer.

I think its more like this:
Cards that put other cards into play as a part of their effect. Black Market is probably right.

Blueblimp's guess of Black Market is correct! Well done, everybody.

Dsell... I can see a case being made for Possession as correct also, actually. In which case, Outpost would also be correct. I'm not totally sure how to define what's going on there.

I think Band of Misfits could get an honorable mention in a lot of challenges, depending on how you look at it.
