Re-revision based on cost issues pointed out during voting

Black Knight - $5
Action-Attack
+$2
+2 cards
-2 cards
Everyone else discards 2 cards and gains 2 coppers to their hand

I actually think the non-attack nature of this card is highly thematic, like a knight being chilvarous to a weaker enemy, but beating down on a stronger one. And the fact that it actually benefits alt-VP to your opponents is an added bonus. Have revised the attack portion so it hurts big money at least a little most of the time.

The overall goal was to go for a JOAT style card.

Can this card be balanced, and, more importantly, should it?

Feels like a monster card to me.  Minus the attack, this probably nets you +$3 or +$4; better if you've got extra Actions and can make use of the Actions you draw.  So that alone is a solid $5 card at minimum.

Now tack on an attack that rivals Followers in severity.  The fact that the Coppers go to your hand is significant and indeed helps alt VP.  But it's just as if not more damaging to engines as Followers is, so on boards where the attack is best, the gain-to-hand is very small consolation for your opponents.  Bottom line, it's a super-strong attack tacked onto a solid $5 card.  Imagine if Embassy also dished out Curses.

What if you try:

+2 Cards
-2 Cards
Everyone else discards down to 3.
Everyone (including you) gains 2 Coppers putting them into her hand.

Yep, definitely super-powered. One minor means of weakening its attack would be to put the gaining first - "Each other player gains two Copper into his hand, then discards two cards". Then you're looking at an attack akin to a cross between Mountebank and Cutpurse. Possibly even "... gains two Copper into his hand, then discards one card" is enough of an attack.

Actually, this winds up looking a bit like Vault in some ways - same +2 Cards, you discard two of them for +$2, and everyone else *has to* discard one/two cards for +$2. So without the Attack portion, you'd want to cost it similarly to Vault, but adding the Attack in means you'd want it to be minimum $6, I'd guess.
