Salvaging both the Province in your hand as well as a Peddler. This gets you $16 and 2 buys, enough to buy the last 2 Provinces.
However, you've destroyed a Province, so you only gained 6 VP.

The original problem definition didn't specify the amount of VP needed, so this could possibly work.

The problem specified some other trashers which weren't allowed, so maybe Salvager is neither.

Well, i did say that if you manage to get both provinces then you wold celebrate minimal win.

Another tip: it is not necessary to have golds. Instead if you have silvers instead of golds you can do it anyway. And silver you have in draw pile is the bottom card.

What?

So now you say you can demand the silver in the draw pile to be the last card.

What is the rule? Can I demand my draw pile to have no victory cards?

It's more like guessing what you are thinking instead of a real puzzle...

I will give my intended solution so you can comment of how should i have formulate this puzzle.

You have adventurer, throne room and mine.
You play adventurer and draw silver and gold.

Throne room X Mine
Silver->Horn of plenty
Gold->Horn of plenty

Horn of plenty->Province
Horn of plenty->Province

The answer is very nice! With the worker's village modification above, I would suggest the puzzle to be formulated as:

.....
knowing there are at least 2 treasures and no coppers in your deck and discard pile, you now know you can win by getting the two Provinces, regardless what other cards are and how they are arranged.

What are your remaining 3 cards in hand?

(By the way, saying there is exactly one Silver and exactly 10 cards in the deck, without mentioning anything about the discard pile is not a good way to formulate the puzzle. Your answer is neither constrained or dependent on these conditions. While sometimes a puzzle needs some distractions, this is just going to lead people to think in the wrong direction and wastes lots of their time.)
