Isn't it ironical ? I posted about a win against Final Fantasy, and there is a win against Locke, and just after having a game where I stole a platinum with thief (but it didn't change much).

So, dear Locke, sorry because this time, the thief was me :
http://dominion.isotropic.org/gamelog/201207/19/game-20120719-051516-e5305d92.html
7 KC, the same number of G.Markets, thanks to this useful haggler I got on first turn ; and there were minions harrassing you... I don't know how many actions I played last turn. Sometimes, a 5/2 opening is much better... especially in game without $4. And I played first.
Oh, and I piledrived provinces too...

(I know Locke is also the name of a philosoph, but don't you know yet how fan of FF I am ??)
And sorry for having posted 4 times on the previous page in this topic.

Sorry for swindling you 4 chancellors and 6 curses... and Saboteuring 3 provinces.... and possessing you... and taking like 10 minutes a turn to your 10 seconds.

Dear ozymandias,

You started buying provinces before my deck was ready so I had to do something to slow you down.  I felt like a jerk hitting you 24 times with Saboteur. I felt even worse about knocking off all six of your provinces and then stealing the win from under you.

You played well and I hope there are no hard feelings!

In case anyone needs extra incentive to check out the log... this is without TR/KC!

Dear Oxen, I'm sorry I got my possession up before you did.. and managed to possess you on turns 12 and 15.. both of which featured you having 2 treasure maps in your hand.

I really tried to build the deck that can do nothing but play multiple possessions every turn. Needless to say I failed.

Holy carp.  Dat tiny detail of discarding your trashed cards after you draw your hand of 5.

Dear IMUNaware,
Sorry about me saboteuring you many many many times... There was an opportunity for a really cool vineyards deck (Border Village, Upgrade, Alchemist) but the lack of + buys meant that just Monumenting and Saboteuring a million times w/ Throne Room seemed like the best way to do things...

http://dominion.isotropic.org/gamelog/201207/26/game-20120726-100519-764a5249.html

Look on the bright side, if vineyard wasnt there, then Saboteuring Alchemist would be even meaner...

Dear kyletheace,

I'm sorry I won the curse split 10-0 using KC-Ambassador, including 6 in the final turn before you resigned.

Why replace Chapel with Herbalist?  At that point, he'd already trashed most of his starting cards, so Chapel was approaching uselessness anyway.  Estate would be even more worthless, except for SR on the board.  But he trashed his starting Estates anyway, so SR was less likely his plan.

Possibly a mistake at that point, but my goal is to junk up his deck with as many terminal actions as possible, and so my thoughts are that allowing him to remove woodcutters/coppers/curses seems less useful than just continuing to clog the deck. And herbalist as the only action seems pretty miserable. I could be wrong tho, estate would also hurt.

Dear my opponents: I know my first five buys were a Silver, two Workers' Villages, a Trade Route, and a Mine; but I wasn't expecting as early as turn 7 to get those all in hand simultaneously, mine the Silver into a Talisman, and buy/gain eight Peddlers on turn 7. I won the game basically on the dumb luck of that early-game shuffle.

Dear Krichevskoy,

I didn't want the game to turn out like this, but you opened Pirate Ship, so I had to build a treasureless deck.  Since there was only one +$ card in the Kingdom … and you gave me that Outpost yourself … well, I'm sorry I swindled you 40 times.

Thanks for seeing the game through, though.

MrCat was unreasonably cool about this single-turn, chipless, comeback from seven colonies and 62 Victory Points down.

Dear Per Fortuna,
I am sorry I opened 5/2 with Vault and Grand Market on the board.  You made a better recovery than I expected!

Dear Rham: Thanks for being a good sport about my Ghost Ship open and about missing Familiar twice.  I am sorry it still took me 31 turns of Ghost Ship Hell to win.

True, but
a)P1 with militia makes hitting 5 harder (happened on turn 4).
b) Dopplarfx should have bought witch earlier, since torturer seems terrible on that board.

You're right.  I'm still relatively new to Dominion.  After my first few Torturers I realized that the power of Torturer is in playing multiples, and there was no action chaining on that board, making Witch the better card.

Dear, WanderingWinder, I am sorry that my Swindler hit your first turn Wharf and that ALL your Swindlers hit Estates, Golds and King's Courts. The only Swindler that actually did anything for you was denying me 1 point by turning one of my Estates into a Lighthouse in the end game.

Sorry to Fnovd (I play as SpaceSquirrel)

http://dominion.isotropic.org/gamelog/201208/30/game-20120830-193700-e7644f12.html
Black Market, Colony, Develop, Duchess, King's Court, Mine, Pawn, Philosopher's Stone, Platinum, Possession, Potion, Scheme♦, Spy, and Tunnel

KC+Scheme+Possession is bad enough.  To make matters worse, he pulled an Ambassador out of the Black Market deck.  Was pretty clever to topdeck like this when he expected my possession (which did come):

— Fnovd's turn 18 —
[...]
Fnovd puts a Sea Hag, a Mine, a Black Market, a Black Market, and a Tournament back on the deck (first on top).

Unfortunately for him, my Possession did connect with a KC.

The ultimate in "sorry" was the next to last Possessed turn (the possession had yet to be played).  He may have already resigned before this happened:

... ... ... and plays the King's Court a third time.
... ... ... ... and plays an Ambassador.
... ... ... ... ... Fnovd reveals a Possession.
... ... ... ... ... returning it to the supply.
... ... ... ... ... SpaceSquirrel gains a Possession.
... ... ... ... and plays the Ambassador again.
... ... ... ... ... Fnovd reveals a King's Court.
... ... ... ... ... returning it to the supply.
... ... ... ... ... SpaceSquirrel gains a King's Court.
... ... ... ... and plays the Ambassador a third time.
... ... ... ... ... Fnovd reveals a Platinum.
... ... ... ... ... returning it to the supply.
... ... ... ... ... SpaceSquirrel gains a Platinum.

Dear ijskol,

We both saw Quarry/GM/KC and ignored Scrying Pool and Vineyard fairly reasonably... sorry I got my deck streamlined with a few Apprentices, then suddenly ended the game on piles with 10 buys (5 of which were KC), buying an Estate to win 1-0 in what you probably expected to be an engine-based Province rush.

http://dominion.isotropic.org/gamelog/201208/31/game-20120831-232604-bd65bbfe.html

And to avoid double-posting...

Dear Qu,

We both saw KC and picked up a Quarry to get them more easily, and Upgrade to thin decks early. But I have no idea why you ignored Tournament. Sorry I grabbed a bunch of them and started building a massive engine that would eventually start Upgrading KC->Province, while getting the prizes and using a spare buy from Princess for Vineyards... I don't blame you for not seeing it through to the end...

http://dominion.isotropic.org/gamelog/201209/07/game-20120907-020038-991a7c89.html

---

Nobody else is posting to this any more? :(

Dear Riley,

I... um. I truly am sorry. This was just brutal. I got unlucky to open 5/2 on a board where we'd vetoed both the $5s and there were no $2s... I opened Ambassador/nothing, used Scrying Pool to win the Ambassador war, and then gradually built up an engine that could reliably double-Curse (while they lasted), multiple-PS, and Goons you every turn. Although I guess giving you Copper and then trashing mostly Copper with PS cancelled out...

I didn't even end it as quickly as I ought to have been able to.... should have just picked up another Potion or two and run out the SP and villages :/
