Dear spice merchant, I'm sorry you fell just short of ending the game in time, and that you had never heard of this combo before. It must have been deflating to have your 80 point lead annihilated out of nowhere.
by some freak of luck I got this kingdom in a pro game:
King's Court, Masquerade, Outpost, Grand Market, Woodcutter, Highway, Mining Village, Smithy, Vault, Harem.

And it almost didn't work. I played fairly badly I think. He got 18 full turns before I finally got the pin to work. He managed to get 7 colonies, a province and two duchies. If he had gone for provinces he would have won. From turn 19 on he had 0 card hands, from playing KC-masquerade with no cards in deck, discard, or hand, both during my regular turn and in my outpost turn. He stuck around for a few rounds though before quitting. He had never seen the combo before, and thought it was hilarious. and since my deck was full of cantrips, not just a 4 card deck of "KC, mining village, masquerade, outpost", my turns took a long time.
