Booted for repeatedly revealing reactions

Revealing a reaction for this many times gives you the following result:

Third time:
The message "(You don't need to keep revealing X.)" appears
Fifth time:
The message "(You should really stop that.)" appears
Sixth time:
The message "(Don't say you weren't warned!)" appears, and you no longer get the opportunity to reveal your reaction. On your next turn, you resign from the game with the message "X resigns from the game (client disconnected or unresponsive)". If it is a multiplayer game, you can no longer view the game, but you can still chat, potentially leading to confusion.

This confused a group of my friends last night until we tracked it down tonight (Quite by accident...). It seems to be relatively new. I find it a little sudden that it force-resigns you without warning; new players without any clue might be really put off by that, but it seems interesting. Just thought I'd point it out...

Just wondering why someone would reveal "X" after the first message appeared.

In my first experience with this, I revealed a moat about 4-5 times to an opposing witch.

It kept asking me if I wanted to reveal the moat. I thought it was lag, or it wasn't receiving my commands. I was thinking... Why would the game ask me to reveal the card if I already revealed it? So I kept revealing it. I thought... if I say "no, don't reveal the moat", would I then get hit by the witch?

It's certainly not user-friendly.

I also did this on my first isotropic game with moat. However, my opponent soon told me that I only needed to reveal it once and I stopped. Apparently this has now been implemented as a feature of isotropic rather than a feature of my opponent. Seems user-friendly enough to me.

It explains in the isotropic FAQ why you may want to reveal multiple reactions.

And more importantly, it's necessary for the rules to work that you are able to do so. I always try to point this out to my opponent when it comes up, and if they don't believe me, hunt for the FAQ section referencing this.

Multiple reactions, yes. But the same reaction card, multiple times?

Reveal Secret Chamber. Pick Moat off deck. Reveal Moat. Reveal Secret Chamber. Put Moat back on deck.

Yes. There are numerous other topics where this has come up already.

To slightly modify Superdad's comment:

The point is that you can't know whether it's the same moat or not.

I'm aware of the Secret Chamber corner cases since it was brought up in Isotropic Facts & Quirks, and am relatively okay with this change. What would make it even better is if revealing Moat gave you visual confirmation that you'd blocked the attack ("Moat provides X immunity to the attack", like Lighthouse); it seems to be the only reaction that does not provide such feedback.

I approve of this  ;D
