Thanks. Me too. I opted for the anesthesia, but the post-surgery pain is apparently still horrid though. And it gets worse before getting better, so definitely not looking forward to that. Haha, that may end up being what happens though

Have fun Ichi! I actually didn't have pain after getting mine out. Not sure if that's common though.

That would be really nice. From what I hear, it isn't too common though. Do you remember what pain med they had you on?

It depends on if they're impacted or not -- mine weren't so it was relatively painless compared to what others have experienced. It's supposed to suck if they're impacted though.

Gonna be busy most of tomorrow so will likely be scarce when Dice Mafia starts back up.

I only had to have a couple wisdom teeth yanked. It was surgical but I abstained from the medication afterwards because it was so strong I preferred being in pain. It wasn't pleasant to be sure but it was manageable with ibuprofen for a couple days and then it was over. Mepergan was the crazy strong pain killer. I don't think they prescribe that stuff in the US anymore.

heh heh. Mine aren't unhealthy, but if left alone they will completely screw up all the orthodontic work I had done. So it's worth it to take em out.

And yeah, they aren't impacted thankfully. I'm pretty young. But I've heard the whole process is much worse the older you get it done.

I forget the name of the drug they're prescribing me, it isn't morphine or anything. It's something more keyed specifically to oral anti-inflammatory action in addition to the painkiller.

The only concerns that surgeon voiced was the one was close to my sinus pockets, and another's root was right next to the nerve running down my jaw. So worst comes to worst, I have a permanently numb lip, or I lose all taste in one side of my tongue, but I hope it doesn't come to that

Had my surgery today. I felt like shit earlier, but doing better now that I'm on all the painkillers and stuff. Have quite a bit of catching up to do in all my games, so expect somewhat low activity until I'm a little more recovered.

I need to get mine out as well

I unfortunately decided they would be fine since they weren't impacted so they are pretty much in...but yes all the work my braces did have been utterly ruined and then some
