Not really a what's missing

Fortune Teller is one of only two cards that mention the word "curse" on them but aren't capable of making someone gain a Curse. What is the other?

The other one is Curse.

Edit: And now Vagrant as well!

Torturer also isn't capable of making someone gain a Curse, the opponent always has a choice.

It's capable of making someone gain a Curse, but it's at the opponent's discretion whether or not it makes them do so. Whee!

It is capable of making YOU gain a Curse.

No. He would have gained a Curse, but instead he gains a Silver.

Not sure, but let's continue that.  Do I misunderstand torturer or would King's Court-Torturer make someone gain a curse?  I thought that if you can't discard 2 cards anymore, then you have to gain the curse.

No, if your handsize is below 2 you can still opt to discard instead of taking the curse (and fail to discard two, but it still counts), just as if there are no curses available you can still choose to take one.
