It’s so pretty! You should name it something lovely and summery.

Such fluffy egg white!

It’s called a Save me the Waltz, which I rather enjoy as a name... almost as much as the drink!

Faust has also been incredibly stubborn this game. In other news, it's hot in the summer, and water falls from the sky when it rains.

That is lovely and summery, even if by accident. How fortuitous! Gin drinks are a win for the summer, for sure.

Lately I've been really into amaretto + ginger ale + lime. I should really give the drink a name, it's amazing.

This recipe is the best frozen cocktail I’ve ever had. Not a trashy syrupy beach drink, not too sweet, perfect for summer. You can batch the mix in the freezer and then just blend with ice on demand. It’s amazing. https://www.seriouseats.com/2016/07/frozen-gin-and-tonic-blender-summer-drink-cocktail.html

I tell you what, you guys can have your mixed drinks. La Trappe Quadrupel is my drink of choice tonight, and it is absolutely delicious.

Man. I had four strips of bacon yesterday. Was one automatically undercooked, one automatically overcooked? No, let's put a stop to that right here, all four strips were excellent.

For Didds:

I was drinking a Billionaire Cocktail, a riff on a Millionaire:

2 oz over-proof Bourbon (I’m using Old Forester Prohibition Style at 57%)
1/2 oz Campari
A short 1/4 oz Absinthe
A Dash of Green Chartreuse
Half a Dash of Angostura Bitters
Half a Dash of Peychaud’s Bitters
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
1 oz Lemon Juice

Old Forrester is my go-to bourbon. Good choice.

Also all I need to buy to make that is the chartreuse and the campari...

It’s my birthday weekend.

I’m out drinking with Debatepro. (Galz, it was a Norma Jean...so good. How do you feel about Cynar?)

I love Cynar (and it’s higher proof brother Cynar70). Cynar & Green Chartreuse are a match made in heaven.

My brother mixed up some cynar drink for us before, interesting, but not my top preference

Galzy, do you have a Cynar and Green Chartreuse cocktail that you'd recommend?

My go to would be a Blushing Monk:

2 oz Bourbon
1/2 oz Green Chartreuse
1/4 oz Cynar
3/4 oz Lemon Juice
1/2 oz Raspberry Syrup
Couple Mint Leaves, Gently Muddled

But guessing you don’t have the Raspberry Syrup? You could muddle a couple of raspberries and do 1/4 oz of Simple Syrup instead if you have the fresh fruit.

Otherwise I would do a riff on a Bijou, subbing Cynar in for the Sweet Vermouth. I would also cut the Chartreuse slightly from what most specs call for (equal parts). I would do:

1 1/2 oz Gin
3/4 oz Cynar
1/2 oz Green Chartreuse

Slainte Mhath Dominionites.

I just recently discovered Benromach Organic and it is really good. It is my current whisky of choice.

Hmmm, not heard of it.  I do have a whiskey shaped hole in my liquor cabinet, but I don't get a lot of drinking done these days so I wasn't rushing to fill it.

Description?

I like the tasting notes / description for most Whisky at Master of Malt Website:
https://www.masterofmalt.com/whiskies/benromach-organic-whisky/

A creamy black pepper flavour really came through for me and I am a sucker for Black Pepper. :)

Lats night we poured a Glencairn of House Stark (Dalwhinnie) and watched a couple episodes of "The Last Dance". It is quite smooth and easy drinking.
