Guys. The apple pie Irish cream is so fantastic, and it's SO SO SO fantastic with a splash of fireball whiskey.

apple pie Irish cream sounds great alone, but adding a shot of fireball?  I have to try it sometime
Yes you do. So decadent. For what it's worth, the Irish cream is Fulton's Harvest and I had a 4:1 ratio of Irish cream to fireball.
I think I know the ratio e might try....

Man. I had four strips of bacon yesterday. Was one automatically undercooked, one automatically overcooked? No, let's put a stop to that right here, all four strips were excellent.

Celebrating singularity today with fancy cheese and wine from a cat-shaped bottle (and local beer and Mike's harder and vodka + water + lemon (which is shockingly tasty)).

We just put the finishing touches on SF Beer Week over here in the greater SF Bay Area. Lots of unique and delicious beers all week long. Lots of long nights and early mornings too. Time to sleep for the next week!

Vancouver craft beer is pretty respectable. I'm glad I live here (and drink it).

Big snow storm coming in. Made some hot cocoa with a little vanilla, some cayenne, and a splash of bourbon. OK, more than a splash. It's wonderful.

:( This reminds me of when I was in France and would drink hot cocoa with a splash of charteuse.  It was also wonderful

Oh I know it is, but I had it there, and I bought it in Grenoble, right outside where it's made, and it was expensive there... And I haven't found it anywhere in the States yet.  So yeah, it just gives me fond memories about a time in my past that I haven't been able to recreate yet.

Craft Lagers seem to have taken over all the cool London bars

Very annoying getting charged the same price for a 330m can that I would normally pay for a pint!

Good note. Although, Warsteiner is one of the medium-class German beers at best. I'm not sure about overall competitiveness of these, either, but try Erdinger or Paulaner, they're delicious. And have a Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier when you get the chance. It's divine grace.

Wow, that sounds magnificent! I should try that.

Where do I get my hands on some Paulaner in the states?  I had it abroad and have had my eyes out for it ever since I came back but haven't seen any...

Just add your location.

Just add your location.  I picked the hefe because it's basically the only German style worth drinking ;P.  https://www.beermenus.com/beers/paulaner-hefe [Okay, dunkelweizens are okay too, as not crappy imitations of hefes ;) ]

Anyone enjoy a nice smoky scotch? Lagavulin, or Ardbeg, perchance?
