Points per click on isotropic

So it comes across my mind when I saw that it takes 162 clicks to get 810 points...

How many points per click can you get in a turn?

Conditions: No duration played last turn. Turn starts with a 5-card hand. 2 player game. No alternate VP cards that counts cards in your deck; i.e., no Gardens, Fairgrounds, Silk Road, Vineyard, etc. Click counts as how it happens on isotropic: one click per action played, one click per special treasure, ordinary treasure can be played in one click if there is no grand market, etc. One click per choice. Automated choices do not take clicks. (say if you were hit by a militia with 5 coppers in hand, then it does not take a click to discard)

EDIT: Oh, when you buy a card it takes a click too.

I currently can manage 24 points per click.

I hope this works:

Hand TR/Golemx3/Curse
1. click:
TR
- Golem 1.1(find 2 TR)
-- TR
--- Golem 2.1 (find 2TR)
---- TR
----- Golem 3.1 (find 2CR)
------ CR (draw 4 Bridges)
------ CR (draw 1Bridge, 3 Curse)
----- Golem 3.2 (find 2TR)
------ TR-Bridge-Bridge
------ TR-Bridge-Bridge
----- TR-Bridge-Bridge
---- Golem 2.2 (find 2TR)
----- TR-Bridge-Bridge
----- TR-Bridge-Bridge
---- TR-nothing
-- Golem 1.2 (find 2 Remakes)
--- Remake Curse,Curse->Colony,Colony
--- Remake Curse,Curse->Colony,Colony

In principle just limited by the  number of Throne Rooms in the supply, you could branch this infinitly deep. Edit: maybe you can also save 2TR by using Golems->BridgeBridge instead of TR-Bridge-Bridge at some point and squeeze out some more points in the end. It's a bit of a pity that I run out of TRs just as I reduced the Colonies to $1, so that you could really start getting points now, if there were more TRs

I assume one can get an infinite ratio. There's almost always a way of getting around the mouse. Indeed, about ten years ago, I went on a personal quest for this, and didn't use my mouse for a couple months. Sorta fun, actually. But in practice, takes forever.

Persumably it's stated clearly enough how you should count clicks for the purpose of the puzzle.

Using DStu's idea of Throne Room I can manage a gain of 76 points in a single click!

A little variation on DStu's solution to score 88 points with a single click.

Our overall objective is to get 10 Highways in play, then play 4 Remakes on 8 Curses to transform them to Colonies. To get this to work, we'll need 5 Throne Roomed Golems. So that's a total of 19 non-Golem actions, one of which is played by us and the rest needing 18/4 = 4.5 of the TR'd Golems. That means we'll have two spare Golem actions, so we can fill that with some other action; I'll choose Moneylender in order to counteract the over-drawing of the Highways (since we only want the 8 Curses in hand once the Remakes are hit).

Here's how it goes specifically: our initial hand is TR, Golem, Golem, Golem, Copper.

TR
- Golem 1.1 (find 2 Moneylenders) => clears out the Copper from our hand (now hand is two Golems)
- Golem 1.2 (find 2 TR)
-- TR
--- Golem 2.1 (find 2 Highways) => draws Golem, Golem (now hand is three Golems)
--- Golem 2.2 (find 2 TR)
---- TR
----- Golem 3.1 (find 2 Highways) => draws Curse, Curse
----- Golem 3.2 (find 2 Highways) => draws Curse, Curse (now hand is 2 Golems, 4 Curses)
---- TR
----- Golem 4.1 (find 2 Highways) => draws Curse, Curse
----- Golem 4.2 (find 2 Highways) => draws Curse, Curse (now hand is 1 Golem, 8 Curses)
-- TR
--- Golem 5.1 (find 2 Remakes) => 4 Curses become Colonies
--- Golem 5.2 (find 2 Remakes) => 4 Curses become Colonies

Can you do slightly better by adding upgrades and playing them after 4 highways to get some duchies in there?

Yeah. Another way is to have some Platinums in hand, then Golem into some Bishops before you start playing Highways. It's tricky to make sure you never need to select the Bishop trash target, but it's doable.

Yeah, I suspected that if you replace the TR for the Bridge by Golems, you should take Highways instead of Bridges
I don't see why you need the Moneylender, the Copper could have been a Curse from the beginning, so there's no choice nowhere...
