It seems to me that one of the biggest additions is... Walled Village to the worst $4 list. Man, it might be worse than all 5 of those cards. Probably not, but it definitely deserves a spot, and I definitely like it less often than Bureaucrat.

I really like Menagerie.  It definitely deserves to be in the 5 Best $3 Cards list, though I am not sure what number I would make it (probably #4).

And if I had a choice between Pawn and Hamlet, I would pick Hamlet every time.  So I would definitely put it at #5 for the Best $2 Cards.

The practical between $3 and $4 is usually pretty small.  Here is a post where Donald X makes this point and smacks me down.

Without debating the merit of the others on the lists:

Hamlet easily makes it into top $2, circa 3.

I'll buck the trend and say Fortune Teller doesn't belong on the worst list.

Tournament takes at least honourable mention on $4.

Hunting party displaces lab.

Nobody's mentioned that Cornucopia mandates two additional lists!  I'll take a shot at it:

The Three Best $0 Cards
3. Princess
2. Followers
1. Trusty Steed

The Three Worst $0 Cards
3. Bag of Gold
2. Copper
1. Curse

You might have noticed that the worst list has a pretty good card on it, but you try coming up with a significantly worse one.

Although in real life, I prefer horses to sycophants, I feel the opposite when it comes to tournament prizes.

I like bag of gold in the games with lots of trashing, like chapel games, when maybe my deck doesn't have enough gold or maybe I even sacrificed my last 2 dollars in the form of a mining village to get the province.  Diadem really only shines when there's pornographic amounts of extra action, e.g. fishing village, and you have a buy.  It's often a better pick than bag of gold, but only bc you get the money this turn and that pushes you over the edge for the province buy.

I don't think I've ever taken Diadem over Bag of Gold, but I would if the right situation came up. So either BoG is better than D (in my opinion), or situations where Diadem shines are rare, or I've just never been in such a situation.

I like Bag of Gold in a deck with Apprentices where you already have 2 Gold/1 Silver but are starting to get bogged down in VP.  Apprentice a Gold, play Bag of Gold, buy a Province and hopefully rinse-repeat.

I tried Diadem in a game IRL where I attempted to create extra a couple extra actions via Hamlet - it wasn't too impressive in that game though generally better than a Gold.  In super-City, I imagine it can be amazing.

Bag of Gold is almost always better than Diadem.

That's a little strong. The situation where my opponent doesn't reveal a province, I suspect I won't get to use the prize more than once,  and the diadem means a province on this turn rather than not, has come up a bunch for me. But I still think b of g is better.
