I just finished
this game
. And while the game itself is not very interesting I thought the board looked kinda funny. I was considering Margrave at one point but decided upon Wharf instead, mainly because it wouldn't help my opponent to line up his Fool's Gold and because of Wharf's generall goodness. Was there a better way to play this board than the way we both did? Would Stables be too slow? Could Margrave actually work? Would Venture help? Could you benefit from the extra cash from Tribute?

Wharf with fool's gold is a power combination. Simulator says that you could add a venture in preference to your third or fourth wharf.

We both kinda figured it would be. And it's also seen at the length of the game.
What I think is really funny though, is that there is no kingdom card costing 3 or 4 besides Silver. It looked really weird in text mode.
