The Rules:

You must use all available buys on every single turn.

You must buy all piles down to 1 card remaining in each pile prior to end-game condition (including curses).

You must end the game by a 3 pile exhaustion no less.

You have a maximum of 40 turns.

You may use any kingdom cards you choose except alternate VP kingdom cards (Nobles, Silk Road, Gardens, Vineyards, Duke, etc.) although VP token cards are allowed (Goons, Bishop, Monument, etc.)

Colony is a required VP card.

Highest final score wins.

After some refinement I see that well over 1000pts is possible.

http://dominion.isotropic.org/gamelog/201206/14/game-20120614-142908-b5ced649.html

2516 Points in 33 turns with end game conditions met.

Wait, why did you post a challenge and then post a solution to it 35 minutes later?  :P  That removes a lot of incentive for people to try to figure it out.

Also, I'm not trying to rain on your parade but, for whatever it's worth, I don't personally think challenges that require you to buy all or most of all of the kingdom are particularly interesting.  I'd be surprised if you got many entrants for this.

The other problem is that it's going to take a long time to do. It's hard to optimize for shuffle luck over 40 turns.

1t's my 1st challenge, I have no idea whether anyone cares to try it or not.

I was actually experimenting with infinite VP engines which I found boring so I started adding criteria to make it challenging for myself.

I personally found the challenge enjoyable so decided to post it here. If someone decides to check my game log and ruin the challenge for themselves that would not be my fault. I posted my log strictly to show it is possible and to set a bar on points scored. Finally, if you read the log you'd see that shuffle luck had little to do with the win and the 40 turn maximum was generous.

Maybe I misunderstand the purpose of this forum; apologies for placing an invitation to participate in something I found fun.

I wasn't trying to give offense, just my perspective on the challenge.  I'm not sure how many other people share my opinion; this is still a pretty new subforum after all.

And keep in mind that I wasn't calling for this to be removed or telling you to stop posting.  By all means, keep posting new ideas.  You can judge how good they are by the interest they garner.
