I recently discovered what I think is a way to play any number of Treasures twice (although the combo can only be used once per game and only with the right luck): Play Black Market, play all the money in your hand, buy the revealed Mandarin, and use drawing actions to get the top-decked Treasures back. So would this combo allow you to get twice the value from the same Treasure cards? If so, then is there a more reliable/reusable way to do this?

That would work! I think it's the only way to play a Treasure card twice in one turn, but maybe someone can correct me?

Well, its not one shot. Mandarin effect is on gain.
You can black BM, put your treasures up, but something (or nothing) and than gain a Mandarin from supply some other way (University, Remodel, whathaveya)

Right, yeah, Mandarin is an on-gain, so that would work. I wonder if there's a way to make this actually useful, though. I mean, in most cases, it's probably better to just buy more Treasure cards. But maybe if you have lots of money and even more drawing power you could get yourself some crazy awesome turns. Or maybe there's a way to use this to bury your green cards and continue reusing the same hand every turn, like with KC/Scheme.

This has come up before, possibly on the Puzzles and Challenges board.  One obstacle to using it to create obscene buying power is that there's no very good way to redraw the Treasure, which makes it harder to apply than Vault/Scrying Pool (discard Actions and immediately redraw).

The other way to use Mandarin to play the same Treasure multiple times in one turn is to play some Treasure cards, play a Horn of Plenty, gain a Mandarin to top-deck the played Treasures, and then play one or more Ventures to replay the top-decked Treasure(s).

And of course the classic Plat, Gold, Silver, Copper, Horn of Plenty hand. Buy colony, gain mandarin with horn, rinse, repeat.

Also, a nombo: Play 10 Contrabands, buy Mandarin from BM, draw 10 CBs and play them again, have >60$ and 21 buys but you can't buy anything.

Technically your opponent can name cards not in the supply or name the same card repeatedly...
