Card Name Ideas

While Dominion is not the most cohesive when it comes to flavour (especially in the base game), the names are all generally medieval-sounding.  I thought it might be nice for fan-card makers to have a repository of names they can draw on.  I'll start:

Locations (good for alt VPs, among other things):

Enchanted Forest, Orchard, Battlefield, Grotto, Dungeons, Windmill, Fountain, Castle, Palace, Chateau, Citadel, Manor, Burial Chamber, Cloister, Sanctuary, Monastery, Convent, Satrapy, Observatory, Harbour, Pier, Lumber Yard, Shipyard, Greenhouse, Aqueduct, Cove


People:

Vagabond, Mercenary, Infantry, Cavalry, Itinerant Knight, Troubadour, Minstrel, Bard, Druid, Magus, Abbot, Vicar, Friar, Cardinal, Royal Guard, Herald, Harbinger, Artificer, Courtier, Gaoler, Surveyor, Shipwright, Pilgrim, Outcast

Another one I came across - Quacksalver.  Basically, a mountebank, a charlatan, a snake oil seller.  Where we get our current word "quack," in the sense of a fraudulent physician."  It's Dutch!

certainly would be an attack card that ended up benefitting your opponent. At least that is how I felt about my personal trainer.

This would probably serve better as a dictionary, no? English is not my main language, so sometimes I use Wikipedia to look for a translation for my entries.

Of all the noble titles, I believe "marquess" is still free.

Actually, there's another pair of (slightly more Middle Eastern) noble titles up for grabs - Sultan, which sounds like it could be a neat semi-powerful Attack, and Sultana, which would presumably have the type Action - Dried Fruit.

More seriously, what about Vizier? Everyone knows the Vizier is always evil and plotting, so again some kind of attack and/or setting up future turn stuff?

And then you can have the Grand Vizier, who you can't buy with copper in play.
