The mafia hangout and all this livestreaming of dominion gave me an idea. I wonder if it would be fun to go over old mafia games, the classics, in a live stream setting, analyzing what happened from hindsight, analyzing who played well and just generally walking down the memory lane. Maybe have two or three guys hosting it, and others could participate in chat, or even join in on the skype call.

Thoughts? Would this be interesting for anyone? It could also be a strategy talk session we've never really had outside of the games. In the game it's always difficult because you can't know if the other side is being genuine or not.

This might also help us to lure people who watch dominion streams into trying mafia, if it turned into a regular and popular thing, but that's of course thinking really far ahead. I think I want to try this if there are at least a couple other interested people and we can find a time that works for everyone.

Mcmc has expressed interest in co-hosting this, so we should start thinking about a date. How would people feel about this coming sunday some time? Post here if you could make it, I guess.

Where did the "!" (scum!sudgy) come from? I had never heard of it when I started playing and thought it was a mafia thing, then my friend randomly used it in a completely different context...

I don't even know, but it made perfect sense to me the first or second time I saw it.

I think I'm going to start doing this in every day writing. I'll refer to Frank as friend!Frank and that other dude I don't like as asshole!Tom.

That implies that you are not sure if Frank is your friend, or Tom an asshole. Both are going to get you into trouble.

Frank could be an asshole. I mean, I only see him once and a while, and he seems nice, but who knows? Tom could be a great guy and just always rubbed me the wrong way.

Yea, he modded my first mafia game, I was waiting anxiously for ds9 to start and he messaged me saying blitz would be a really good intro, I swear he made me mafia on purpose because I think town would have been a disaster in that game, but having you and eevee to carry me to a flawless victory assured that I was never going to stop playing mafia.

The role assignments were random. (But were they really random?)

Joth is sometimes around. Frisk is totally gone. Ozle was here for a while... cayvie came back briefly, played her on goko a couple times I think. Haven't seen O.
