And what a great hand it was, allowing you to buy so many powerful cards. Additionally, it improved your next hand heavily, I don't want to know what great things you were able to do next turn.

Also, don't forget the awesome buying power that it resulted in. An Estate that could easily be drawn by the Scout in the hand!

So we had one of those City/Grand Market games, where those two piles had emptied and we were racing to see how many Provinces we could take down before the game ended. Going into the last turn, I was pretty sure I was behind, but I could take two Provinces, which I thought would be enough if I three-piled. Unfortunately, with only $21 in hand, there wasn't any way to take two Provinces and three-pile...

...or so my opponent must have thought.

We should have a thread for those "5 of one card" hands. I got 5 Conspirators today. Didn't someone post a pic of 5 Rabbles once?

I drew 5x Menagerie recently.

Now, if that Estate was Salvager instead, that would be something!

Nice anyway. :)

I think this would be cooler if you had played at least 1 City before gaining the last City. That way you'd be able to see City played at level 1, 2, and 3 all in the same turn; which would be awesome.

But in this case, it's done because he's ahead, but he needs every Treasure to buy the last Province and end the game.

I've forced the game to end by deliberately Amb'ing Provinces or Colonies before. It's fun when you've counted and know it works :)

I ended a game a couple days ago by Ambassadoring the last Province to my opponent. Only then to discover that I'd completely miscounted, and I had 4 Provinces instead of 5. Lost by a couple points.
