[COMPELE] My first solo challenge: The Forges

Was bored and couldn't sleep, so I came up with this.
Challenge: In a solo game, gain all Provinces using only Forge using the fewest amount of turns possible.
Rules: You may only gain Provinces via Forge. Other than that, this is like the other ones. PM me your Iso. log by May 4 at 12:00 a.m. EST.

Do you have to keep the Provinces you gain? i.e., can I forge one into another?

No. You must have all the Provinces in your deck by the end of the game.

I believe you mean in your deck?

Warehouse is obviously good, and Workshop too, I think. I got 30 turns, though, on the first try. :/ (I kinda doubt that's competitive.)

I would definitely try Hamlet/Talisman/Peddler/Forge for this, maybe with a Chapel, maybe with a Quarry.

I can get a theoretical* of 10 turns.... But actually DRAWING the cards to get anywhere close to that would be insane. Like trying to actually pull off a puzzle 1 solution, but crazier.

Well, here are the results:
Comining in in first place, we have blueblimp for Nine turns, who used a KC-Governor-Bridge strategy to Forge nothing into a Province eight times on turn nine. Game log: http://dominion.isotropic.org/gamelog/201204/27/game-20120427-095235-f37d4cd1.html.
In second place, we have 3 ties for 10 turns:
Fate, who used the same strategy as blueblimp. (KC-Governor-Bridge) Game Log http://dominion.isotropic.org/gamelog/201204/27/game-20120427-124530-304576ec.html
allfail, who used King's Courts, Highways, Bridges, Courtyards, Ironworks, and Watchtowers to Forge nothing into Provinces. Game log http://dominion.isotropic.org/gamelog/201204/26/game-20120426-204349-964e7020.html
Hks, who used the same strategy as allfail, but used Wharves instead of Wachtowers. Game log http://dominion.isotropic.org/gamelog/201205/03/game-20120503-110448-c659b9f7.html
And finally in third place, we have GigaKnight, for 11 turns. He used King's Courts, Highways, Worker's Villages, Smithies, Ironworks, Bridges, and Villages to Forge into Provinces.
Thanks for playing everyone!  :)

I essentially just followed jonts26's solution to def's Fewest Turns challenge. It came out a bit differently because of different draws, but the idea is the same. The only tricky part is to buy the right card mix on the first megaturn so that the second megaturn works out reliably enough. (It also turned out that my luck was good enough to 3-pile Colonies, Provinces, and Duchies on the final turn.)

This was fun but it was spoiled a little bit by the realization that lowering the cost and then not forging anything just gets you a Province.  I think it'd be even more fun to ban Highway and Bridge and do this challenge again.  Maybe even ban King's Court, since that seems to be so central to most of the "use your own Kingdom" challenges.

FWIW, I turned in an nonoptimized 13 turn result (I only made 1 quick attempt, but if you optimize it, you can do 10 turns) that required no Highway or Bridge. I did use KC however.

I managed 13 turns I think without KC, Bridge or Highway, I reckon it could have been done quicker as I only did it in 3 tries.
