Hello!

My name is theory and I work in New York City as a freshly-minted lawyer.  Married (to rrenaud's sister) with an adorable little puppy.  In my free time I operate this website and lose a lot on Isotropic.

My favorite Dominion card changes a lot.  Currently it is Tactician, but Warehouse is close behind.  I dislike Scrying Pool the most, because it leads to long games, but mainly because I'm pretty bad with it.

The main other board game I play is Twilight Struggle.  The two don't really have any conceptual overlap, but they both provide a richly satisfying 2-player experience.

I do!  Every time I play it I wish it was Warehouse instead.  I don't get that feeling from most other cards (I guess Fishing Village comes closest).

Does this mean you are freshly back from London?

Married (to rrenaud's sister)

OK, it's kinda interesting knowing this place is run by brothers-in-law.

More like brotherly out-laws.  :P :P :P

(Unfortunately, I don't know either one well enough to justifiably use them as the subject of a joke, let alone a joke that implicitly calls into question their adherence to the law... yet I have just enough impertinence to do so anyways. ;D)

Don't worry, it's justified. rrenaud is pretty uncivilised. A bit of a Barbarian, really. It gets worse though. He even dabbles with Statistics!

That was totally not worth the joke and everyone saw it coming. Eh.

...spin-offs are still better for all of the previously cited reasons.
But not strictly better, because the spinoff can have a different cost than the expansion.
