Has anyone of you ever encountered a situation where your opponent hasn't moved for longer than the normally tolerated inactivity period but the button to make him/her resign does not appear? I'm still in that game (for >30 min now) and can't make him resign. It's not like I desperately need to win this game; I'm just wondering how to escape this situation since I cannot resign/return to the lobby.

I've had this problem, but when I refreshed the page it turned out that it was me that had timed out.

This I've had before, too. But when I did, I just came back to the same screen. Well, I kept switching between images and text style and finally I was told I had a certain number of reconnections left. These I used completely and then I could reconnect only. I'm curious whether this appears on councilroom tomorrow. :-)

Afterwards he told me he had emailed the problem and how he was able to 'cheat' to rspeer. Still not too sure whether he really could make it happen or whether it just happened.

This is probably related to the bug that I posted, it seems there is a way to cheat the system, and as I said there it's probably got to do with a javascript bug, as chat doesn't seem to be a commonality.

Did he say he emailed the problem to RSPEER? Why rspeer? The right person to email is dougz, as stated in the FAQ at http://dominion.isotropic.org/faq/ :

I found a different bug.
    Email dougz+dominion@isotropic.org with questions, problems, comments, etc.

At the very least, the guy should have looked for a guinea pig. It's not fair to you that he sprung his experiment on you. You were just looking for a game.

As someone who experiences bugs all the time, I can appreciate the need to explore it, but he should have brought in a friend. Or at least message someone and say, "Hey, I'm conducting an experiment…"

Not to necro a thread. But the same guy is doing it in a game against me right now.  His turns are lasting 20+ minutes...  Can someone ban him or something?
