Yes. I was clueing wind (as in wind instruments) and snap (people snap along to jazz).

And then Galz made a really crazy connection to Snake, which was the assassin.

So I decided I had to burn a turn to keep you from guessing snake, which you seemed really likely to do. I hoped that after that you would guess wind and snap, both of which had been mentioned as possibilities.

The last red word was Roof, which I would have clued with Spicy for Roof and Curry if things had gone differently.

But yeah, that snake thing really screwed me up. Also I guess jazz was a bad clue. Maybe I should have done "shingle" for Snap and Roof and "fart" for Wind and Curry. But you know, I try to be a classy dude.

Like initially Galz was on the right track, so maybe "saxophone" would have been perfect. A saxophone is a wind instrument, by the way. A woodwind actually, despite not being made of wood.

Hmm - I have my initial thoughts, but don’t love anything here.

Silver, Jimmm, do any answers jump out to you?

I could see Pupil (student, in general, though not particular to ‘Jazz’), South (associated with New Orleans, Southern US), Snap (I picture snapping silhouettes and people playing sax in my head), Wind (not a wind instrument, but you blow into a Sax)…

But for almost all of those, why Jazz over Saxophone? I don’t know. Don’t love any of the things coming to mind for me here.

And I do watch Rick and Morty but I'm not like a rabid fan. It's not top of mind.

Good game though. A more or less successful 5 should have given us enough room to maneuver a bad clue, but the fact that Blue was able to counter with a successful five of their own made our missteps deadly.

It was a real roller coaster! Our side’s 5 clue crashed and burned real fast, so it definitely wasn’t a decided outcome at that point, by any means. Seriously, mid-way through the game I/we thought you guys had this one.

Your team indicating they are likely to go for the assassin pretty much forces you to go with a 0: unless you can clue every word to the end super precisely and trust your team to follow, so I
think that slither clue was definitely the right call. It wouldn’t have gotten the jazz clue either, but red seemed to have generally a pretty tough set of words here.
