Post mortem:
HEALTH (5): Ambulance, Apple, Soul, Bicycle, Dance
VOLUME (2): Cone, Pit
FIRE (3): Pit, Dance, Army
For my first clue, I debated between HEALTH and HEALTHY, not sure it would've made a difference. I was a little worried about cell, but I figured it might be your 4th or later guess. I was excited when Eevee said something about not if bicycle then dance (or the other way), especially when you later learned that bicycle was blue. But by then I think you convinced yourselves that Cone was a HEALTH word - that had never even occurred to me.
So then the challenge was getting Cone and Pit. The key was to link these two words, because Cone seemed hard to connect to anything else, and I figured I could handle what was left after (it helped that they got GLASS, though I think that could have fit under my FIRE clue). I don't think this was a good clue, because of the instruments but I hoped you'd somehow think in terms of space (which you did for Cone, yay). I also considered things like, FILL, but worried about Wagon. After the fact it realized I had the perfect clue for these in PENDULUM (the Pit and the Pendulum by Poe, and Pendulums often make a conical shape, plus nothing else really seemed like it would be even close).
Lastly, they got Bicycle for us, leaving us with the last 3 words. For a while I considered TRENCHES for Army and Pit, but a) I was worried you might still go Bridge or even Tornado there and b) it did look like you thought you were done with HEALTH, so would guess a 2nd volume word instead of Dance. So I felt I had to clue all three and this was the best I could come up with. Yes, Dance was like Fire Dancers, but also the way flames dance around. I actually was more worried that you wouldn't see the Army connection, so great job there, Eevee.
